My colleagues and I will be devoted to researching and investing in the best possible equipment, strategies, and systems to make your jobs as easy and safe as possible.” Donnarumma began his NHRFR career in 1992 and rose through the ranks before being promoted to battalion chief in 2007 and deputy chief in 2012. He attended North Bergen High School and graduated from New Jersey’s City University cumma laude. His brother Michael recently retired from the fire department as a captain after 32 years of service. Weehawken Mayor Richard Turner, North Bergen Mayor Nick Sacco, North Bergen Commissioner Julio Marenco, West New York Mayor Gabriel Rodgriguez, NHRFR board members John Haberman, Anthony Vainieri, Martin Martinetti, Jose Munoz, and Co-Executive Directors Jeff Welz and Michael DeOrio, attended the event along with proud family members of the firefighters. ”I am immensely proud of our department and grateful to these men for their consistent level of expertise, professionalism, and commitment to serving their community throughout their careers,” said Turner, chairman of NHRFR’s Management Committee. “Congratulations to all the members of our department being promoted, as each of them have done outstanding work and truly earned this honor. I am confident and feel secure knowing that we have a tremendous group of leaders in place who will guide the next generation of firefighters into the future.” Award winning and nationally recognized the North Hudson Regional Fire and Rescue is one of the largest regionalized fire departments in the United States. It covers the North Hudson municipalities of Guttenberg, North Bergen, Union City, Weehawken and West New York. A township zoning board member muttered a racist slur during the application process to open a proposed Islamic daycare center in Teaneck, according to court documents and a statement from the Council on American-Islamic Relations. The alleged racist statement made by Teaneck zoning board member Edward Mulligan in 2019 was revealed in a recent court deposition that is part of an ongoing legal battle over plans to open the daycare center, said officials from the council, known as CAIR-NJ. Selaedin Maksut, executive director of CAIR-NJ, is asking Teaneck Mayor James Dunleavy to censure Mulligan. The zoning board member allegedly made the bigoted remarks about Muslims several years ago during a board meeting to discuss vehicle pickups of children at the proposed center. “During court testimonies, it came to light that Edward Mulligan (had) muttered a bigoted comment about pickup by camel — a stereotypical reference to Arabs — when members were discussing car and bus pickup procedures for the proposed Islamic center,” Maksut said in a statement. In a June 17 deposition obtained by NJ Advance Media, attorney Atif Rehman testified he was sitting next to zoning board members when the comments were allegedly made by Mulligan, “under his breath, kind of to himself.” A 5-year-old girl was hospitalized unconscious but in stable condition after she nearly drowned Thursday in a swimming pool at a motel in North Wildwood, authorities said. Police and firefighters were called about 5:50 p.m. to a report of a child near the pool who wasn’t breathing, according to North Wildwood Fire Chief Dominick McClain. “On arrival there were lay people (attempting) to give CPR,” McClain said. The child had been staying with her family at the Roman Holiday Resort motel on John F. Kennedy Beach Drive when the incident occurred. McClain said security video showed the girl jumping in and out of the pool with five other children as parents watched from nearby. At one point in the video, the girl appears to hit her head on another child’s elbow, slips under the water’s surface and doesn’t not come up on her own, the chief said. A man nearby pulled the girl out of the water as others attempted to revive her. Arriving firefighters took over CPR and performed other lifesaving measures before the girl was flown to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia

The odds of hitting Tuesday’s $1.1 billion Mega Millions jackpot are astronomical and the chances of even winning a far smaller lottery prize are fairly low too, but that’s part of the fun of dreaming big. The overall odds of winning something after buying a $2 Mega Millions lottery ticket are 24 to 1. To begin with there are two sets of Mega Millions balls. Five white balls are drawn out of a drum containing 70 balls. Then one gold Mega ball is drawn out of a second drum with 25 balls. https://events.ydr.com/event/dfa612b3c54954e7e29403a44fdf1667 https://events.ydr.com/event/326b5c4500307a53b06a8721a9e3d75b https://events.ydr.com/event/3dd034af4627f7d2ebf3a11b78eb844c https://events.ydr.com/event/b9b469f68c9f9d3cc486c0c916b768e5 https://events.ydr.com/event/84f668ef771453be9f43ad481a2beaad https://events.ydr.com/event/0ce71f9d251a08bc15f48f8bd1d23f48 https://events.ydr.com/event/daf1c2fc049bcf6fd424e96f1cfeb3d2 https://events.ydr.com/event/741ab969fb89841cd3d7e89ce20d2f2f htt...
